Toby was just 12 days old when he was brought to the sanctuary having been taken from his Mum so that her milk could be used for humans. Like his 4 friends who arrived with him, he would have been sent to a fattening unit where he would have been raised and slaughtered for beef. 

Toby was the 2nd smallest on arrival, (Wiliam being even smaller) but with lots of tlc and milk replacer he soon started to do well and after about a year moved up to join the main herd at the new farm site. Toby is a Holstein Friesan breed and mostly white in colour with a few black blobs here and there and a pair if very tiny horns!  He will be 4 years old on 29th June and would love to receive sponsorships for his birthday to help him stay safe at the sanctuary where he is living his best life :)
