Barnaby
We were approached by a farmer down on Salisbury Plain to see whether we could help with a calf they had who had bent over knuckles. They had been working with him for a while but were not able to give the time and resources necessary to help him recover.
It was an 8 hour round trip and little Barnaby as he is now called arrived at the beginning of April - just on 1 month old. He has to wear splints for about 6 to 8 hours a day and have several physio sessions to try and get his legs straight. Its a lot of work, but eight months on, and Barnaby has made a fantastic recovery and is bombing around like there was never a problem!
Like all his new Cow friends Barnaby is taking part in the marathon des cows and hope to find friends who will help him hit £100 of new sponsorship a month to help keep the sanctuary going.
