Rupert
Rupert arrived about 5 years ago after we were asked if we would take in a Cockerel that was going to be killed if no home could be found. He is the sweetest little guy with a very cute cockadoodle doo sound. He lives with his partner ingeniously named Mrs Rupert and their new friend Burt.
Like all the rescued birds they have access everywhere at the sanctuary but these 3 tend to hand out in a particular stable where they have their own privet feed & water and where the other Cockerels don't tend to trespass! All the birds at the sanctary live inside the main stable block at night to protect them from preditors
