Ghandi was one of five little boys who were being disposed of as being the waste proucts of the dairy industry. Back in the Summer of 2019 a group of friends decided to try and rescue a number of these little boys who were facing slaughter.

You see the dairy Cow has to be pregnant to make milk, but her babies are taken away so that the milk can be used for people. The boys are unwanted and often slaughtered either immediately or soon afterwards and poor Mum is insemenated again to keep the milk production cyle going. 

The girls manged to rescue a number of boys and found homes at a few different sanctuaries including ourselves. Ghandi was bottle fed on arrival for some weeks before being weaned onto his adult diet.

He's a lovely chap with a very distinctive look and set of horns. he very much wants to stay living at the sanctuary with his friends, so please do consider helping him from hust a pound a month :)
