Despite appearing to be a member of the "H" gang, Heidi is in fact not part of that mini gang! She was rescued back in 2017 and is Mum to Gretel who we featured on day 22 of this marathon des cows.  Both Heidi and Gretel were at a hobby farm near Ongar whose owner wanted rid as they kept escaping and he hadn't even registered Gretel's birth - however as you may recal from the details on Gretels page, we managed to get it sorted so that she could be moved with Mum and come to live at the sanctuary. 

Heidi is a keen gardener and loves to help tidy up under the trees. She is one of a very tiny number of cows who get to live with their babies and she is also very tiny herself being a "Dexter" breed.  She would very much like to help Fiona keep the sanctuary running which we can only do if we find enough people willing to help with the bills.  You can't get much for a £1 a month these days, but you can help save a sanctuary.
